Sidekick 4G not showing time on text messages?

I just got this phone and am still figuring things out, but I noticed that it doesn't show the time messages were sent. So if I get a message but don't notice it for a few hours then look at it, I have no way of knowing when it was sent to me and how long that person might have been waiting for me to reply. It shows the date, but not the time. Are all the Sidekicks like this or is there a problem with mine? If so, how do I fix this?
