What do you think of freshmen?

I'm going to be a freshman, and i've heard stories about things like throwing pennies at freshman on the first day, or Freshman Kick Day & stuff like that. I'm really nervous. /: Everyone says they hate freshman, and I can totally understand why. I can't stand most of the people my age, they think they're the **** and try to hang with kids in the older grades and walk around with their hollister shirt, hollister jeans, hollister bag and hollister flipflops, and they try to get a million boyfriends in a week so they can brag about it. It's so annoying. Any non-freshmen agree with me? Most people tell me I look older than I am, and that I'm mature for my age. I'm pretty chill about most things and I don't try to get attention. I also need some advice on how to be a cool freshmen and not get stuff thrown at me like everyone else. XD please help me?
